Athlete Assessments
Every athlete who works with Redpoint Performance begins with a comprehensive athlete assessment. This is an in depth look into performance elements, beginning with a series of questionnaires looking into mental fortitude, tactics, athletic history, lifestyle, and goals. The next step is to determine the baseline of physical metrics. This includes mobility, full body strength, finger strength, and a metabolic energy system test specific for rock climbing and or trail running. The complete assessment will build an athlete profile which will allow for program design, coaching strategies, and trackable progress.
Remote Training Program
Once a comprehensive athlete assessment has been completed, a training program can be built. All programs are built in 4 week blocks. These short blocks are easier to focus on without losing motivation. Each program is unique to the athlete. It is individualized to reach his or her goals in a structured progressable manner. Every program will utilize athlete specific skill work, fingerboarding, strength and energy system work. All programs are flexible and can be modified at any point due to lifestyle factors, a change in available equipment, or injuries that occur. From sending your first 5.10 to many 5.14’s or 50k to 100 milers, Redpoint Performance has the expert knowledge to build a reliable training program to reach your mountain goals.
One-on-One Sessions
One-on-one sessions are customized coaching sessions. Each session can range from climbing or exercise technique to mentality and tactical performance for a send. Coaching sessions allow for an expert eye to assess movement patterns, mindset, mental hiccups, and breathing patterns. Based on an athlete’s intention for the session or long term goal, each coaching session will aim to make a measurable contribution to overall performance quality.
Full Support Monthly Training Package
If you are committed to doing everything you can to improve your climbing performance then this is the package for you. The full support monthly training package is the most extensive program offered by Redpoint Performance. Each athlete will receive a comprehensive mental, technical, tactical and physical assessment in order to build each customized 4 week training program. Additionally, two one-on-one coaching sessions will aim to improve the mentality, technical, and tactical elements of performance each month. As with all other training programs that are offered, full communication support for training and coaching is included.
First Time Client Remote Package
The first time client remote package is a cost effective way to begin climbing or trail running specific training. This package begins with a comprehensive athlete assessment. A custom 4 week training program is built based on the assessment results. All training programs come with full communication support to answer any questions concerning all things climbing or training. This training package is excellent if you are new to training and want to see what improvements can be made or if you have been training on your own for some time but would like expert advice on how to refine your programming for maximum efficiency and improvement. There are no one-on-one coaching sessions included in this package.
Two Month Intro Package
If you are serious about improving your climbing or trail running performance but new to training, this package will allow you to submerge yourself in the process without being overwhelmed by a long commitment. The two month intro package is great for athletes who want a short yet effective training and coaching program. This package is a combination of all the services offered by Redpoint Performance but at a reduced rate. It begins with an athlete assessment. Then followed up with a customized 8 week training program and two coaching sessions. Full communication support is included to ensure that every athlete feels confident about his or her training methods and techniques.

Climbing ability relies on mental fortitude, technical ability and physical power. For the best performance to occur, all three elements must be relatively equal to one another.
